Global Chalkboard Broadens Its Curricular Advantages with the Release of New BASCOM Lessons @ NYSCATE
Hauppauge, New York - October 19, 2006—BASCOM Global Internet Services, Inc., a leading software development company specializing in Internet curriculum solutions for K-12 schools, showcases new BASCOM Lessons at the 41st Annual NYSCATE Conference in Rochester, NY. This announcement extends the curricular advantages of the Global Chalkboard by including newly developed BASCOM Lessons with the solution. BASCOM Lessons are prepackaged, online learning activities created by our in-house Educational Specialists—certified teachers with K-12 classroom experience. These interactive Web activities provide focused learning by guiding students to only those sites needed to perform their lesson. This enables a teacher to manage their classroom while also using the Internet to teach.
Each BASCOM Lesson is cross-curricular; while performing the Web-enabled activity, a student is acquiring skills in multiple disciplines.
