BASCOM Gains Stronger Foothold in Community Organizations with a Global Chalkboard Deployment in BGC of Wichita Falls

Hauppauge, NY - June 18, 2003—BASCOM Global Internet Services, Inc., a pioneer and leader in curriculum-based Internet management, is further penetrating the community-based organization market with its recent deployment to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls, TX. Serving as a model program for the nationwide organization, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls with the purchase of BASCOM's Global Chalkboard is now equipped to deliver Internet-enriched instruction to its club members. Using the Global Chalkboard's Lesson Creator, Club staff can now create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student using Web sites to customize instruction, enabling the organization to provide further assistance in achieving academic standards for its members.

Global Chalkboard installations are growing substantially both nationwide and in BASCOM's home-based, Long Island area and surrounding New York City suburbs-including a recent grant from the New York City Department of Education.
