Redesigned Faculty Room Now Features Monthly Celebrations with Supporting BASCOM Lessons

Hauppauge, New York - March 1, 2008—BASCOM Global Internet Services, Inc., an innovative developer of Internet curriculum solutions for K-12 schools, today proudly launches its new Faculty Room—a home on the Web for teachers. Accessed anytime, anywhere at teachers.bascom.com, the Faculty Room is an open resource developed to support busy teachers.

The new Faculty Room is now dedicated to a specific monthly celebration, so teachers can easily create event-specific curriculum. They can use Web sites and BASCOM Lessons defined for that month by clicking on these boxes at the bottom of the home page:

The Classroom—BASCOM Lessons designed for Elementary, Middle and High School honoring the featured monthly celebration.

The Library—Celebrated days of the month with links to sites in BASCOM's Web Library for that event.

The Media Center—Live demonstrations of BASCOM's Global Chalkboard show the educational benefits of using this curriculum-building, Internet teaching tool.

Many of the Internet resources delivered in the Faculty Room can be used immediately. Others require the Global Chalkboard and its Web Library. It is BASCOM's intention to acquaint teachers with the vast educational benefits of using the Internet as a curriculum-building tool.

Combining a teacher's expertise with BASCOM's innovative products brings us both closer to our goal: improving educational outcomes in the classroom.
