For disaster recovery, a phone call to BASCOM's Technical Support staff is all that is needed to remotely restore the Global Chalkboard using a private, inter-server, communication channel. A simple interface is used to restore a school's backed-up data and Internet access. In case of a hardware failure, the Global Chalkboard's three (3)-year Express Exchange Warranty™ guarantees delivery of a new appliance the following business morning if BASCOM is notified by 12:00 noon Eastern Time. (Notifications after 12:00 noon Eastern Time cannot guarantee delivery of a new appliance the following day.)
