The Global Chalkboard gives educators access to BASCOM Lessons, prepackaged Internet lessons and learning activities created by our in-house Education Specialists. These interactive Web activities provide focused learning by guiding students to only those sites needed to perform their lesson. This enables a teacher to manage their classroom while also using the Internet to teach.Each BASCOM Lesson is cross-curricular; while performing the Web-enabled activity, a student is acquiring skills in multiple disciplines. A category is selected to access a list of Internet lessons arranged in grade level order— Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and then High School. Clicking on the lesson name displays the instructions students perform. The Web sites they use to complete their online assignment can be viewed by clicking on the active links.
